Yet another raid against terrorism in UK where the police arrested a 24-year-old young man and a 23-year-old young woman in Berkshire. They have allegedly prepared an attack in the UK, the police has 48 hours to question them and choose whether to incriminate them. The boy was arrested in Reading, between London and Swinton, and the girl was arrested in Wokingham.
Queen Elisabeth spoke about terrorism during her Queen’s Speech at the House of Commons. “The Minister of Interior and law enforcement agencies will be given additional powers to target the communications of terrorists.”
Fear of attacks and foreign fighters increased after three teenagers left Gatwick Airport of London on February 17 to fly to Turkey and then reach Syria. Turkish authorities pointed their finger at the English accusing them of incompetence and saying that communicating better with the girls would have prevented them to reach ISIS. The teenagers got in touch with their families yesterday and told them they have reached the country and have no intention of going back.
