Chi vincerà l'Oscar il prossimo 9 febbraio? La lotta quest'anno sarà dura. Sono infatti uscite oggi le nomination per la statuetta più ambita del cinema mondiale che vedono come grandi protagonisti dell'edizione 2020 ben nove pellicole. Nello specifico: Ford V Ferrari, The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Joker, Piccole Donne (Little Women), Storia di un matrimonio (Marriage Story), 1917, C'era una volta a Hollywood (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) e Parasite. Al primo posto, meritatamente, il Leone d’Oro di Venezia 2019 “Joker” di Todd Phillips che raccoglie 11 nomination (tra cui film, regia e attore protagonista). L’ultimo film di Tarantino “C'era una volta a Hollywood” segna 10 nomination (anche qui film, regia, attore protagonista e non) al pari del nostro Martin Scorsese (via Netflix, uscito a mani vuore dai recenti Golden Globes) che non è da meno con dieci nomination tra cui film regia e nomination per due dei tre attori protagonisti: Joe Pesci e Al Pacino ma non Robert De Niro. Sempre 10 nomination per il 1917 di Sam Mendes. Notevole l’exploit di Parasite, l’ultima Palma d’Oro di Cannes: il film coreano di Bong Joon svetta nel quintetto per il Miglior Film Straniero dove vincerà quasi sicuramente ma raccoglie altre sei nomination tra cui regia, film, sceneggiatura originale e production design. La 92esima notte degli Oscar che si terrà al Dolby Theatre di Hollywood il 9 febbraio prossimo, circa un mese prima rispetto agli anni passati.
