Democracy in Italy has become entirely relative. Laws, which should contain the value of justice and truth, are reduced to overt social climbing tools, used to please a political party or even an arch from the pantheon of the powerful.
The legislature loses and degenerates faced with the obvious twisting of the constant resort to the vote of confidence; it contradicts the fundamental task of a legislator, that is, to draw carefully from any contribution to realize laws able to offer a solution for the true good of the community. Once again, all those things have been trampled on by asking the vote of confidence on civil unions.
It has been an absurd choice, given that it would have eventually won, despite the Commission and opposition. This imposition looks like a challenge and a dangerous stiffening position towards the Vatican; at least according to rumors… perhaps, upon closer examination, we might find that these “little voices” are not wrong.
The result of all this – the one that horrifies us, will be yet another law against the family, yet another kick to the basic unit of our society and a further decline of those principles, which are now considered to be outdated.
The subject determines the truth in every area. So, in this horrible practical dictatorship of relativism, we have at least the duty to hope and pray that younger generation will rebuild and recover one day what we are completely destroying.
