Anonymous seems to have thwarted an ISIS terrorist attack in Italy, according to the British tabloid Daily Mail. It has cited a tweet spread by the activists of the hacker group through the account “Operation Paris” (@OpParisOfficial), which is not visible at the moment. “This month we are working in silence. We have already thwarted an ISIS attack against Italy and we hope to manage to prevent other attacks”, the tweet cited by Daily Mail recites, presenting also a screenshot. No further details have been provided by the hackers on the alleged attack thwarted in Italy.
Anonymous has promised to hunt down jihadists in network as a result of the terrorist attacks of November 13 in Paris which have caused the death of 130 people. “We will launch the largest operation against you. Prepare to massif digital attacks. War has been declared. Get ready”, a spokesman of Anonymous said in a video posted on YouTube immediately after the attacks in the French capital, declaring war to the Islamic State.
