Thus, despite being admitted to hospital for treatment, the 33-year-old patient who weighted 360 kilograms and suffered from a devastating addiction to food, had secretly ordered a pizza and was chased away from the structure. The young man was hospitalized in order to undergo treatment that was supposed to make him lose 250 kilograms over a period of 80 days.
By calling the pizzeria, he broke the clinic’s protocol. As a consequence, he was constrained to leave. The young man’s father told the press that at present he spends most of his time lying in the trunk of his car. “My son should be permanently monitored – said the man -. If left alone, he becomes uncontrollable and is destined to die”.
