What goes around, comes around. It is an old saying, yet it is very suitable for the story of a thief from Adelaide, a city of Australia. Local police was warned about two suspect men who were fussing with a car, possibly trying to steal it. A patrol immediately went to check the situation, but the agents found a “surprise” upon their arrival. What they found was a 53-year-old man whose details were not spread and who sought to hide inside the vehicle.
The Australian Lupin – somewhat clumsier than the original one – had forced the lock of the door in order to get inside the car. After having got inside the vehicle he closed the door and realized that the doors had got locked and that he could not get off anymore, not even when he realized that the police was arriving. Thus, he was arrested. Checking the surroundings of the place where the aspiring thief was trying to steal the car, the agents were able to find also the accomplice: the other man hid in the bushes instead of running away.
