The Colombian authorities have seized today a ton of cocaine in the state of Sinaloa. It was mixed with ink for printers and was traveling towards Mexico. The discovery was made due to the police dog, Mona, that has “sniffed” the drug at the El Dorado airport in Bogota.
The drug were hidden in 48 cartons. The agents from the drugs department of the Colombian police run the tests on the substance. Once they obtained the results and verified they were positive, the forces of order alerted their Mexican colleagues who have, then, sequestered the so-called “black drug” at the Mexico city airport. According to the joint investigations carried out by the forces of the order of the two countries, the drug was meant both for the United States and the European markets.
The cargo was hidden inside a container destined to a Mexican company. The Colombian police has not yet arrested anyone and has not even communicated the name of the airline the cocaine had travelled with.
