A new attack shadows Tunisia after the web announcement of Ifrikia Media – the “official voice” of ISIS – warning every Muslim, “We suggest you do not fly with Tunisair from Chabane de l’Hegire 15”, which is the Muslim date for June 3rd.
Meanwhile the country is shocked because of the attack to a police station in the capital a few days ago. A soldier who had furlough shot 6 former colleagues and then committed suicide. Tunisian authorities keep saying this is an isolated event, which was committed by a “single and instable person”. In the following days, Ifrikia Media spoke about Mehdi Jmemi describing him as a “lone wolf” who had his personal revenge against soldiers.
He had a dagger, he stubbed the soldiers of the police station of Bouchoucha near the Bardo Museum, and then he took one of the gun of one of the soldiers and shot the others companions of the army. The case has to be clarified. Officers believe that the psychic fragility of the man is what led him to this suicidal act in the name of the Islamic State.
