B. B. King, 89, died in Las Vegas on May 15. He could have been poisoned. His two daughters, Karen Williams e Patty King, say two of his collaborators poisoned him: his business manager, LaVerne Toney, and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson.
“They gave him some medicine to make him die – say the two women – we want investigations on this matter”. The two of them released two declarations and they underlined that the family of the King of Blues was denied to visit him and that he was only assisted by his manager and assistant. Toney was named in King’s will and, according to some official documents; he may inherit tens of millions of dollars.
During the preliminary exams on the body, conducted by the legal doctor of Nevada, there is no trace of poison. In addition, police officers say there is no investigations ongoing for the murdering of the legend of blues. Anyways, authorities asked for an autopsy, the results would be ready in about 8 weeks. Three doctors looked after the musician and made sure he had the best cure 24/7 “until he peacefully died in his sleep” said his lawyer, Brent Bryson.
