Boiling May in the country where it seems that summer has prematurely anticipated its arrival. In most regions, it is dominated by clear skies and temperatures up to 30 degrees the north. But this is the last hot spell for Italy that from Thursday will prepare to lead in from the North Atlantic cyclone Ferox, with significant bad weather conditions starting from the north.
There will be strong thunder storms, hail and possible cyclones on the Central Po plain. The Alps will be under the snow with declining share from over 1300 meters but crucial day is scheduled for Friday. On May 15th, the cyclone will make its entry into Italy with strong gusterly winds blowing southwest at Tirreno, Sirocco on the Adriatic and Ionian Sea and lower temperatures between 10/15° around the country.
During the weekend, the bad weather will move further to the centre south with further storms that will compromise the weekend. Bad news for those of you who, like this weekend, predicted to spend a day at the seaside for a nice suntan, you will need to replace towels and costume with raincoat and umbrella.
