It seems that debates around Gazprom are neverending. It asked Ukraine about $24 billion in front of the Court of Arbitration of Stockholm; in particular, about the debate between Kiev and Moscow on a ten-year contract to provide Russian gas. Naftogaz, the national energetic society, revealed it. Some days ago the premier Iatseniuk announced that Kiev asked Gazprom more than $16 billion.
In April, according to official data confirmed by Gazprom and Neftogaz, the Ukranian society paid £110 million. Alexey Miller had already informed that starting from May1st, the quantity of gas would be doubled. On the other hand, the Ukrainian society states that importation decreased by 39% during the first three months of 2015.
On April 1st, Gazprom and Naftogaz signed an agreement on gas supply during the second trimester of 2015. Considering a $100 discount, Ukraine has to pay $247,18 for 1000 m3 in advance, as it was for the previous agreement.
