Record during the first week, the shroud is exceptionally open for visit in Turin from April 19th to June 24th. 186k pilgrims have already passed by the shroud, 22,300 entered without booking first, although it was compulsory to register in the diocese website. The Booking Office of the Organization Committee has communicated these statistics. According to the Committee, among those who visited the shroud, 300 came from France, 700 from Poland and others from Singapore and Australia (40 people), from the USA (80 people), India (27 people) and Russia (34 people).

The couple attended the Mass at 7 am in the cathedral. The Holy Father is going to visit the shroud on June 21st and 22nd.
